I'm posting early today as we'll be leaving our hotel around 6 am India time (730 pm CST) to visit the Taj Mahal! I can't believe it! I'm so excited. Of course, this isn't happening without incident. To make it short we were going with folks from work, then we weren't, then we found someone else to take us, then we didn't. At last, we arranged with our hotel to drive us there and provide a guide for the day. This is the same way we traveled to Jaipur, which was lovely. Besides, this is absolutely the safest way to do it. Going through a friend of a friend's cousin's mother's son just seems a little removed and rather suspect. We're playing it safe.
Some of our company's business leaders were in Delhi this week. They invited us to dinner with them this evening. We met at the Trident in Gurgaon, which was absolutely amazing <http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/DELTRHI-Trident-Hilton-Gurgaon-hotel/index.do>. It was nice to mingle and get away for just a second. After dinner, we went back to training. My trainees told me how much they missed me! How nice!! That really made me feel good. I prepared them for the agenda for next week - I know they'll do just fine!
Well, off to get a minute or two of sleep before I get up to head to the "Taj"!

Carol, Just finished reading your latest. So glad your MOVE was uneventful. The pictures are wonderful. Keep all those good pics coming, as we are enjoying your excursion very much. Wish they had this type of communication back in my day. Keep up the good work and enjoy the experience. Love, Jean
