Mickey! No joke! That darn rat found me again! However this time he dangled from the ceiling. At first, I thought the class said it was a bat.... oh no, it's my pal Mickey. I think I started a fire with how fast I got out of that room. I didn't care though. What surprises me is that no one else, except one of my trainees runs like mad. Unfortunately, I knew the routine... zip everything up and get it off the floor. Gross. I bet if that rat found it's way into my fancy hotel room, it wouldn't last long.
I ate lunch for the first time at the company's cafe. I had some doubts earlier considering the bouts of DB, however I'm feeling much better now (and cutting back on the cheese sandwiches) so I chanced it. I was pleasantly surprised! I thought it was good. They had a little veggie tray I picked from - the carrot are the color of papaya - like a deep red. They're really pretty and taste a little sweet. I had Dahl (I think that's how you spell it) which is a lentil type of sauce you put on top of rice. There were a couple of other things I tried - both of which I liked. Ice cream, vegetarian of course, for dessert.
My pals and I decided that we need to be making the most of our trip, so today, before work, we're going to hit some shopping and grab some lunch. The hotel staff knows were to go, so we'll have them plot out our plan and hire a car.
Training is going well! Everything is falling into place like I hoped it would.
