Moving Day!

It's official! I have a new address in Delhi. We moved from Uppal's Orchid to Taj Palace <http://www.tajhotels.com/Luxury/Taj%20%20Palace%20Hotel,NEW%20DELHI/default.htm>. We moved because it's closer to other things in Delhi and the other folks from work stay here too. It was rather uneventful which I was happy about!!

Yesterday we took advantage of the spa at Uppal's Orchid. If you recall, the gal that gave me my complimentary massage suggested that I "needed a pedicure". So, I got one. I had an array of Revlon nail polish to choose from (as I was pawing through the colors I thought, "darn it, I should have brought my own down!"). Anyway, I found something that would be just fine. She insisted on painting on some nail art. I'm not typically a nail art kinda gal, but what the heck.... let's do some nail art! I have little white specs in each corner of my nails. It looks fancy in my sandals. Maybe now I'll fit in (but I'm not holding my breath).

One of our friends from work picked us up from Uppal's yesterday and took us shopping. We went to a place called The Central Cottage Emporium. It had quite a variety of things! It's located in a mall and has fixed pricing. I did procure a few items, but wanted to wait and see what else I can find. I enjoy the art of bargaining, so perhaps we'll go somewhere else where I can practice!

Back to work we go today - it's going to be tough I tell you... I have a feeling Mondays always are.
